Join us for an hour of practical ideas and resources to support your work with children and families.
Having a Baby: Introducing Baby Love
Becoming a parent can change almost everything: not only daily life, but how someone feels about themselves, their new baby, their partner, their body and their wider family.
In this session, we will introduce Baby Love, Amity's practical self-help book designed to support parents and carers through the emotional and relational changes that can come with having a baby.
Being Curious: Introducing Amity Curiosity Cards
Brilliant relational practice often begins with one good conversation.
In the second half, we will introduce the Amity Curiosity Cards: laminated sets of prompts, conversation kickers and interactive activities designed to sit in a practitioner's bag, ready to support meaningful conversations with families.
Together, these resources support both sides of effective relational practice: giving parents something practical to reflect on and giving practitioners the confidence and tools to begin meaningful conversations.
During this webinar, you will:
take a closer look at two practical Amity resources;
explore how Baby Love can support the transition to parenthood;
discover how the Curiosity Cards can build practitioner confidence;
see activities, prompts and ideas you can use with families.
Everyone who attends will receive printed copies of Baby Love and the Curiosity Cards.
Suitable for:
Professionals working with parents, babies, children and families across family hubs, maternity and health services, early help, children's social care, education and the voluntary and community sector.
